You can find the Basilica of San Lorenzo in Lucina, one of the oldest Christian churches in Rome in this square. It still preserves many medieval elements whereas its interior is decorated in the style of the 17th century, with its ceiling made of medieval ceiling coffers. It is also home to the Cappella Fonseca, made by Bernini.
