Project Description

Eataly

Eataly is the biggest food and wine centre in the world, where you can buy, taste and study high quality Italian food and drinks. It has thematic areas dedicated to meat, fish, cheese, cured meats, bread and pizza.

You can also find numerous restaurants here. Eataly wants to demonstrate that the possibility to offer a wide range of high quality food at good prices exists and, at the same time, let people know about the production criteria, the faces and the history of the many producers that make up the best of what Italy has to offer in the world of food and wine.

It’s the sort of place to go to when you want to treat yourself, do something on a whim; a place to observe, taste, savour, smell and be amazed.

On the third floor of Eataly in Ostiense you can find the restaurant-laboratory where chefs from the Niko Romito Formazione cooking school will cook for you and help you discover and savour Italian cuisine.
Their menu concentrates not only on tastes and products that are in season but also on traditional Roman dishes that have been revised with a modern touch to incorporate lightness and contemporaneity The cost of a meal is about €35 – 40 (excluding wine).
